Jeni's Story
Dr. Jeni Goedken grew up in Chicagoland and graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, but her heart has always belonged to animal rescue and pet hospice. She worked for years as a veterinarian for a no kill shelter as well as a feline shelter before volunteering to provide medical care and advice for the pets of Silicon Valley Pet Project.
Dr. Goedken provides compassionate in-home euthanasia to pets through her business Fond Farewell. She also serves as a consultant to the Veterinary Medical Board of California and is the current President of the Santa Clara Valley Veterinary Medical Association (SCVVMA). In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family (husband, twin boys, and rescue pets), traveling, wine tasting, and volunteering for other local non-profit organizations.
