Ann Chasson Jessica's Story

Jessica provides animal behavior support for Silicon Valley Pet Project’s foster families and adopters, as well as community education through articles and webinars. 

Her background includes 4 years at a large animal shelter where she worked with fear, aggression, and other challenging behavior so the pets could find their forever homes. She now offers training and behavior modification to dog and cat guardians through her businesses, Canine Engineering (www.canineengineering.com) and Feline Engineering (www.felineengineering.com).

Jessica is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, a Certified Fear Free Trainer, and a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer. She is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.

When not working, Jessica enjoys trying to teach every animal she meets to do a “high five” and training her rabbit, Dewey, who makes her a better trainer by never making it easy.
