SVPP Corporate Ambassador Role
A corporate ambassador is an SVPP volunteer who is employed by a corporation or business that offers a workplace volunteer program.
A corporate ambassador promotes SVPP’s mission in the following ways:

Shares enthusiasm for SVPP’s mission on appropriate corporate communication channels promoting animal welfare (fostering, adoption, spay/neuter, responsible pet guardianship), volunteerism, and charitable contribution

Identifies and organizes corporate volunteering events to support and spread awareness of SVPP's mission to save local at-risk shelter pets through rescue, community involvement, and education

May serve as the main point of contact for other SVPP volunteers employed at the corporation or business
Examples of Volunteer Activities
SVPP is committed to working with corporations and businesses to brainstorm on individual or group activities that are educational, and fun, and help support SVPP's mission of saving lives.
Examples of activities include, but are not limited to:

Organize company-wide supply donation drives

Staff community events on behalf of SVPP

Create unique opportunities to market our adoptable pets, and recruit foster parents

Organize team/group activities to learn about animal welfare while making handmade dog/cat enrichment toys

In partnership with our local shelters, provide manpower for special projects
