Wilbur wants to be the center of someone’s attention. He loves to play, be petted and nap close by your side. He will play independently with his toys, but also likes human interaction to throw them for him to chase. He will sit in the window and chirp at the birds outside. He will greet you at the door with a friendly meow and follow you as you do things around the house. He loves exploring, and has an uncanny ability to open closet and cabinet doors. He would like a house with someone home most of the day best.

He had a rough start to life, so he needs someone who can speak “cat” and understand when he has had enough petting. He does not get along with other cats, but he is fairly “bomb-proof” when it comes to noises like vacuums, fireworks and construction, especially if you warn him the noise is starting.

Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.  Indoor homes only.
