Rose is a 6 year old, 21 pound Pug/Shar-pei/Boston Terrier mix. Sweet Rose landed in the County of Santa Clara Animal Shelter very sick and underweight after having several litters of pups.  Now that she is an SVPP foster dog, she is finally able to enjoy her solo life!  She gets to be the puppy now (even though she is six) and is full of energy and excitement at being out and exploring everything around her, possibly for the first time.

Rose has settled beautifully into life as a loved dog with both 4-legged and 2-legged siblings. The comings and goings of teens still makes her a bit nervous, but she definitely knows that hanging out on the back deck in the sun, taking walks with her 4-legged sister, and snuggling on the couch are the BEST!

Rose is house trained, doing well on her leash walking, and starting to learn that "Sit" and "Stay" are great ways to get yummy treats! Her health has been very good, and she LOVES her meals. Please fill out an application to meet this special dog!

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
