Learn more about the Chihuahua.
Nora is a sweet, quiet and easy to care for dog. A petite dog of 8 years and weighing about 11 pounds, she is easy to pick up and carry about. She is happiest following her person around the home and enjoying long naps in her bed. While happy to get attention, she isn't needy or demanding. She doesn't bark; however she may offer a very quiet whimper when she needs something. We categorized Nora as a special needs dog because she takes medication to control diarrhea and will likely need to stay on this medication for the rest of her life. She will do best in a single story home with few steps to maneuver. She is happy to go out for walks, but will spend most of her time stopping and lingering to take in the scents of the neighborhood. She gets along well with dogs and humans. Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
