Sage is a feisty and adventurous young lady! She is affectionate and social with both people and other pets. Sage loves to be the center of attention - whether you are wrapping presents, baking, or even running errands (she loves a good car ride!). She is the last of her litter of six to be adopted and has been raised by humans since she was just a few days old - meaning she is more than ready to be your new best buddy!

Sage has a mild medical condition which is treated by using an upright feeder - but don't worry, her feeder will come with her :) 

More about Sage's story:

Sage was brought to the San Jose animal shelter with her 5 brothers and sisters when they were just a few days old. SVPP was able to rescue the entire litter and have them raised together in foster care. Sage has always been the runt of the litter, but her large personality more than made up for her size! She didn't let her brothers and sisters bully her around! 

When she was a few months old, her foster mom noticed she wasn't growing quite as fast as her siblings, and a few vet visits later she was diagnosed with mega-esophagus, a condition that made it difficult for her to eat.  Once she started receiving treatment, she began thriving and has since grown up to be a normal kitten. She is no longer receiving medication and her condition has almost completely gone away. The only remaining treatment is using her upright feeder for most of her meals. 

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated, and microchipped.
