Nala is a 6 year old, 13.4 pound female miniature schnauzer-mix, who will need special care as she has hypoglycemia, and must be fed small amounts of food every few hours to modulate her chronically low glucose levels.  Nala has a history of seizures,  caused by her low glucose which is likely caused by a condition called insulinoma.   Nala gets daily medication for her condition and will need ongoing monthly vet visits to manage her condition. 

 

Nala loves being around her people,  getting back and belly rubs, and is ready to snuggle on your lap or nearby you. She enjoys playing with with her squeaky toys and loves frequent short walks.  She’s an easy going dog, and is vocal only when she is excited about going out for a walk. She bonds deeply with her primary caregiver. She has a lot of love to give!

 

Ok with small and large dogs, ok with considerate kids, and all adults, good for seniorelderly, apartment appropriate.  Nala is leash trained, does well in the car, likes toys, will need grooming, playful, affectionate, intelligent, gentle and knows basic commands and is treat motivated.
