My Life Starts Now: We don't know how sweet, shy Callie landed in the San Jose Animal Care Center. However, we quickly learned about her sweet nature through her Dog Day Out volunteer, Danielle, who immediately fell in love with this gentle girl. Danielle could not leave Callie in the loud scary shelter and kept returning to take her out for quiet walks. After a few weeks, Danielle realized that Callie had to become her dog, and she worked with the shelter and SVPP to make this happen. Foster to adopt is a wonderful way of helping animals and humans form lasting bonds, and we are so happy to have Danielle and Callie join the SVPP family!
