Fred was found dirty and matted in San Leandro with his friend, Marnie. This sweet little guy is looking forward to having a home of his own with a lap to sleep on and lots of scratches. He is resting with a lovely foster while being treated for skin issues.   Fred is not yet neutered due to the COV-ID shelter in place restrictions.  Until he is neutered and microchipped, we are open to placing him in an adoptive home that first acts as a foster home with intent to adopt him.   His neutering surgery will need to take place in San Jose.   He currently uses belly bands in the house to control marking;  once neutering is done the marking should be reduced/eliminated.   Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
