Pistachio's got all the get up and go you could possibly need. He's happy to hike and bike all day long. He's housetrained and crate trained, but definitely needs an active and attentive home. He can be a little shy with strangers and will require an attentive and thoughtful handler to keep "shy" from becoming reactive or fearful. He can be successful in a home with a traditional 40 hour work week, so long as an you're ready to spend some quality time with him before and after work! He's got puppy energy and can be mouthy and bouncy. He loves playing tug and we think he's got great potential for dog sports- agility? rally obedience? nosework? The sky's the limit! He plays well with other dogs, but can be a little intense for elderly dogs or cats that aren't familiar with dogs. We don't think a placement with kids under the age of 12 is a good fit. He currently weighs 35 lbs at 8-10 months of age, but will likely mature to 40-45 lbs as he grows. His breed mix is anyone's guess, but there may be some cattle dog or some american staffordshire terrier in there too!
