Learn more about the Poodle (Standard).
This sweet senior came to us scruffy, scared, and needy from the shelter. She has cataracts that severely limit her vision and at best, she sees only shadows and light. Her foster mom named her Fiona, which means “white” or “fair”.
Now in loving foster care, Fiona has recovered from infections in both ears, and has undergone dental surgery to remove seven teeth. Fiona is currently under medical supervision for periodic small seizures.
But despite the challenges this little girl has a strong spirit. After learning to navigate her foster home, she can now gracefully go up and down the stairs and bravely walk through the doggie door. Every day she builds up more an more confidence and is beginning to enjoy her new life.
Please consider donating to Fiona's care so we can continue to provide for her special needs. Thank you! |
