Don’t let the rough and tumble exterior fool you, this cat is a big love. In his foster home, Earl lives with 2 kids (ages 8 and 11), 2 small senior dogs (pomeranians ages 12 and 15), and one persnickety senior cat (age 18). After a proper and slow introduction to each other Earl and the other pets co-exist splendidly. An independent adventurer and avid bird watcher from his window perch, Earl keeps himself entertained all day. If people are doing anything interesting he will follow suit or keep an eye out from a toasty sunbeam. Earl is a lap adjacent cat, meaning he enjoys the proximity of one but isn’t prone to sitting directly on people. A big fan of the foot of the bed - Earl finds feet to be his favorite bedfellows. Whether spelunking in open cupboards or enjoying company, Earl has so much to offer a family who sees the limitless potential of a former street cat. And although he has FIV (which stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) he is full of life and otherwise quite healthy. A lot of people don't realize that cats like Earl don't get a chance to be adopted at the shelter because of an unfounded stigma. FIV cats can live very long lives when they are provided with good care and regular vet checks. Every single cat deserves a home. Every. Single. Cat. For more information: http://svpetproject.blogspot.com/2017/06/fiv-is-not-death-sentence.html Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Indoor homes only. Adoption fees for cats/kittens: http://www.svpetproject.org/ Stay up-to-date on what Earl is up to by following us on Facebook!
