Internet Cat Film and Video Festival at Camera Cinemas

Move over dog lovers and canines, a stampede of fuzzy, adorable cats will be clawing their way to Camera 12 Cinemas. Sponsored by the Office of Councilmember Pierluigi Oliverio, the City of San José, and the Walker Art Center, the event is the first of its kind to bring together cat lovers and cat video lovers in San José.

The Festival will feature an hour-long clip reel of cat videos from around the world, including Hover Cat and Henri Le Chat Noir. Attendees will also enjoy learning about local animal resources and adoptions with the festival’s community partners.

Costumed attendees are encouraged. The best outfits will be eligible for prizes, such as cat food and toys, in addition to the admiration of your peers.

A $12 donation is suggested for the event with the proceeds benefitting local cat rescue groups including Silicon Valley Pet Project.
