Meet Author Fern Field Brooks Fern Field Brooks has worked as a producer/director/author for more than 40 years. Her credits range from Maude to Monk and many things in between. As a producer, Brooks has garnered an Emmy and an Oscar nomination, along with Humanitas, George Foster Peabody and NAACP Image awards. She calls her newest book, They Call Me Destiny, a "meowmoir" since it is written from Destiny’s perspective. It's the story of a rescue kitten's journey from the gutters in New York to a fancy condo in Manhattan and weekends in the Hamptons. Join Brooks at one of three upcoming events: Saturday September 26 Hicklebee's
